Description
1861-O 50C MS 64 PCGS. This popular, early Civil War issue is relatively scarce at the present grade level despite a combined mintage of 2.5 million pieces. Gunmetal-gray and pastel iridescence overlays both sides, the reverse also displays mottled electric-blue and orange toning. Powerfully impressed in most areas, the surfaces are frosty and nearly in the Gem category.
