Conditionally Scarce 1861-S Half Dollar, MS64 NGC
1861-S 50C MS64 NGC. Satiny surfaces that are virtually untoned, save for a bit of color at the rims, and display exceptional sharpness on the highpoints. As a date, mint state 1861-S Half Dollars are often lumped together with other much more obtainable No Motto issues, when in reality they are quite scarce, especially in this high grade.
