NGC 1861-S MS 64. Satiny surfaces that are virtually untoned and display exceptional sharpness on the highpoints. As a date, mint state 1861-S half dollars are often lumped together with other much more obtainable No Motto issues, when in reality they are quite scarce. Population: 4 in 64, 3 higher.
