Description

1863-S MS 64. Pretty lavender toning glances across the obverse. The balance of the coin is silvery-gray and well frosted. Mintage figures and price guides simply do not do the 1863-S half dollar justice in mint state evaluations. Uncirculated pieces are not at all common and choice examples rarely surface. A fine opportunity for the specialist.
