1870 Half Dollar, MS65
Few Known So Fine
1870 50C WB-101 MS65 PCGS. Sea-green interiors cede to
yellow-gold and rose border toning on this Gem 1870 Seated half.
The strike is sharp throughout the stars, Liberty's head, and the
eagle's talons. This Philadelphia issue is plentiful in circulated
condition but scarce in any Mint State grade. Gems are extremely
rare. Population: 5 in 65, 1 finer (6/17).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 572188, Base PCGS# 6327)
