1871-CC 50C VF25 NGC. Soft pinkish-gray coloration bathes both sides of this Carson City half. Despite moderate wear, the design elements retain relatively sharp detail, and the surfaces are remarkably clean. Wiley and Bugert (1993) assign an R.5 rating for the normal date variety of this issue. This is an excellent opportunity for the Seated Liberty half dollar specialist.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24K5, PCGS# 6331, GSID# 6359)
