1871-S MS 65 NGC. A lovely, lightly toned gem. The mintmark is very weak, and were this not in a holder the casual observer might never know it to be a product of the San Francisco mint. This is the highest graded example by NGC (6/98), PCGS has also seen only one MS 65 with none higher.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24K6, PCGS# 6332, GSID# 6360)
