1872-CC 50C VF20 PCGS. Deep cobalt-blue and tan-brown toning blankets this lightly abraded Carson City half dollar. Six letters in LIBERTY are sharp, and the E is apparent although faint. Scarcer than suggested by the mintage of 257,000 pieces, since there were no coin collectors in the Wild West.(Registry values: N991)
