1872-CC 50C XF40 PCGS. Wiley-Bugert call this issue "extremely scarce in XF and above." The present XF coin offers dove-gray surfaces that reveal a surprising amount of muted luster and gold tinges under a strong light. A few scattered abrasions are of the undistracting sort, and the strike is well-executed.
