1874-CC Half Dollar, AU Details
Low-Mintage Arrows Issue
1874-CC 50C Arrows, WB-101, Die Pair 3, R.4 -- Cleaned -- NGC
Details. AU. Among Carson City half dollar issues, only the
first-year 1870-CC has a lower mintage than the 1874-CC. It is also
one of only two CC-mint half dollar issues with arrows bookending
the date. A lightly circulated steel-gray example is desirable,
even if the surfaces are glossy and hairlined from cleaning.
Liberty's upper leg displays moderate marks.
