Choice XF 1874-CC Half

1874-CC 50C Arrows XF45 ANACS. WB-101. Normal Reverse. An earlier die state that plainly shows the two diagnostics of this variety: the heavy die line through ES of STATES and a tine that resembles a cow lick off the eagle's head. The coin appears to have been lightly cleaned at one time and the interior of each side is mostly brilliant with light gray and golden color around the peripheries. Very scarce in all grades, only 59,000 pieces were originally produced and even VF examples are a challenge to locate.
From the Tommy Dorathy Collection of Seated Halves.
