Description

1875 50C WB-101 MS64 PCGS. A production of more than 6 million pieces yielded few near-Gem and finer coins for such a large mintage. This attractive example displays ocean-blue, golden-gray, and hints of rose toning over reflective surfaces. The bold, variegated toning disguises much of the prooflikeness. Sharply struck with a few small marks on Liberty. Population: 44 in 64, 19 finer (8/15).
