Important 1875-CC Half, MS62
1875-CC 50C MS62 NGC. While considered among the so-called common dates from the Carson City Mint, the 1875-CC enjoyed the third highest mintage of any Seated half dollar from that mint, with a production of 1,000,8000 coins. Few of those have survived in top grades, however, and any Mint State example is elusive today. This piece has mostly brilliant silver surfaces with splashes of light gold over satiny luster.
