Description

Gem 1875-CC Half Dollar
One of the Finest Known

1875-CC 50C MS65 NGC. While available in circulated grades and lower-end Uncirculated condition, the 1875-CC is a condition rarity in Gem condition. Only one other piece has been so graded by NGC with one finer (2/10). This is a lovely, brightly lustrous example that has semiprooflike fields on the obverse. Pale gray surfaces turn to light golden at the margins on each side. The devices are sharply struck throughout, and there are no obvious or mentionable abrasions.(Registry values: N2998)
