Description

1875-S Seated Half, MS65
Pale Iridescent Rim Toning

1875-S 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Silver-gray and pearl-gray compete for territory on this delightfully frosty Gem 1875-S Seated half, one of the nicest survivors from the mintage of 3.2 million coins. The sharp strike adds to the appeal, and wispy die cracks and pale iridescence appear near the rims on each side. A top-notch example. Population: 56 in 65 (1 in 65+), 17 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N2998)
