Description

1875-S 50C MS66 NGC. Splendidly original, both sides are thickly frosted beneath medium lavender-gray and golden-olive toning. A little softly defined near the upper obverse border, the remaining features are all sharply impressed. Both sides are typically blemish-free for the grade with a pristine sheen. NGC and PCGS combined have seen only 15 coins in MS66, and there are none graded finer (5/01).
