Deeply Toned 1876 Liberty Seated Half Dollar
1876 50C MS 65 NGC. A gorgeous coin from the standpoint of originality, both sides display rich charcoal-brown patination that yields to blushes of golden-russet about the reverse denticles. Carefully preserved and heavily frosted, it is little wonder that this Gem representative is among the finest certified survivors of the issue. NGC and PCGS combined report 14 examples in MS 65 with a scant 2 finer (9/99).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24KG, PCGS# 6352, GSID# 6296)
