Description

1877-CC Half Dollar, MS64
Bright Mint Luster

1877-CC 50C MS64 PCGS. CAC. Type One Reverse, Medium CC. Because almost 2 million CC halves were struck in 1877, it is likely to be used for type purposes. This is a highly lustrous example that has just the slightest hint of toning over each side. The strike is sharp throughout, and the only mark we can see that would prevent an even higher grade is a short one in the right obverse field. Population: 44 in 64, 21 finer (8/13).
