1878 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Peripheral autumn-gold shades increase the appeal of this lustrous and impressively unabraded Gem. Well struck aside from the customary slight inexactness on the eagle's left (facing) ankle. A better date than its immediate predecessors, since production fell with the advent of the Morgan dollar.
