Description
1879 Half Dollar, MS64 CAC
Low Mintage, Rare Doily Holder
1879 50C Closed Bud, WB-102, MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1879 has a
tiny mintage of 4,800 commercial pieces, since the Philadelphia
Mint was kept busy producing silver dollars. The present near-Gem
exhibits frosty devices and lustrous fields. The preservation is
outstanding for the MS64 level. Housed in a Generation 2.0 Doily
label holder, a rare and distinctive variety that briefly replaced
the classic "rattler" holder. From The LS Collection.
