1881 Seated Half, MS66
Conditionally Rare
1881 50C MS66 PCGS. A low mintage of 10,000 pieces
contributes to the high production value of this later Seated half
dollar issue. Not rare in Mint State, but definitely rare at the
MS66 grade level or finer. This example is one of 11 certified
Premium Gems at PCGS, where just three pieces are rated even higher
at MS67. This brilliant, fully struck specimen exhibits intense
mint luster and exquisitely preserved surfaces that are nearly
