Magnificent MS67 ★ Seated Half
1882 50C MS67 ★ NGC. A precisely struck Superb Gem of this low mintage date. Lightly toned and semi-prooflike with remarkable preservation. Proofs and business strikes combined for only 5,500 pieces, since the mints were devoted to Morgan dollar production. NGC has awarded a Star designation to only three business strike 1882 half dollars, two of which grade MS67 with none finer (6/07).(Registry values: N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24KV, PCGS# 6364, Greysheet# 6302)
