1884 Half Dollar, MS67+
Finest Certified
1884 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Only five MS67 PCGS coins are
certified with none finer, and this specimen is the only one graded
MS67+. On the other side of the country, NGC has graded 10 MS67
examples with none finer. One NGC coin carries the ★ designation,
perhaps tied with the present specimen (11/11).An amazing Superb Gem, this 1884 has brilliant silver surfaces with satiny luster and radiant mint frost. There is no evidence of toning on either side. A few tiny chatter marks are evident on each side, but they are imperceptible without a loupe.(Registry values: N1)
