1887 50C MS65 NGC. From a meager business strike mintage of
just 5,000 pieces, the 1887 Seated Liberty half dollar is seldom
encountered in high grade. This spectacular Gem exhibits sharply
detailed design elements in most areas, with just a trace of
softness on some stars on the right. The well-preserved lustrous
surfaces are blanketed in attractive shades of cerulean-blue, pale
gold, and jade-gray toning. Census: 18 in 65, 14 finer
