Description
Splendid 1888 Half Dollar, MS67
1888 50C MS67 NGC. This low-mintage half (12,001 business strikes) looks nearly as it did when it came off of the presses. Glowing, unbroken luster exudes from essentially white surfaces that exhibit sharply struck design elements, save for minor softness in the centrils of the stars at each side of Liberty's head. A few luster grazes are visible on Liberty's portrait, but they do nothing to take away from the splendid overall eye appeal.
