Description
Originally Toned 1888 Seated Half Dollar
1888 50C MS 65 NGC. This Gem example is blanketed by golden-brown and deep gray toning. The strike is a little weak for this low mintage issue, one of just 12,000 pieces struck. The surfaces are moderately abraded for the grade, particularly in the fields, but originality should inspire spirited competition on the bidding floor.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24L3, PCGS# 6370, GSID# 6308)
