Description
1888 50C MS 64 PCGS. A few light clashmarks (as produced) in the obverse field are the only mentionable "distractions" on either side of this richly frosted near-Gem. Boldly defined in most areas, this nearly untoned example is an important survivor from an original mintage of just 12,833 pieces.
From the Alex Highland Collection.
