1889 Seated Half Dollar, MS66
Only One Coin Finer at PCGS
1889 50C WB-101 MS66 PCGS. Despite a mintage of only 12,000
pieces, the 1889 Seated Liberty half dollar is collectible in many
Mint State grades. Nonetheless, Premium Gems are conditionally
rare, and PCGS lists only a single finer example (10/21). This coin
is essentially brilliant, showing a sharp strike and pristine
fields. Luminous cartwheel luster is especially pleasing.
