Description

1889 50C MS63 ANACS. A heavy satin finish covers the fields, with more subdued devices appearing above this coating. There is trivial weakness to the hair, with strong detail to the hand, robes, foot, base, and eagle. The coin is essentially white with a gentle film of yellow toning. This date quickly becomes a condition rarity in upper Mint State grades.
From the Collection of Dr. Joseph M. Seventko.
