1890 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. The 1890 half was the last of the low mintage halves that began in 1879, only 12,000 business strikes were produced this year. This is a sharply struck, high-grade example that displays multicolored toning over each side. The underlying mint luster is still abundantly clear in spite of the layerings of color. Population: 9 in 66, 5 finer (9/11).(Registry values: N2998)
