Description

Final-Year 1891 Seated Half, MS66+
One of the Finest Certified

1891 50C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. With a mintage of just over 200,000 pieces, the 1891 pulled out of the low-mintage drought that lasted through all of the 1880s. Remarkably, though, there are few high-grade examples known of the 1891. This beautiful, fully brilliant piece is well-struck overall. There are almost no abrasions; the only surface disturbances are die clashing in the fields. Population: 2 in 66+, 2 finer (5/11).(Registry values: N2998)
