1844 MS 62, a frosty coin with mottled iridescent gold, rose, and lilac toning, sharply struck, Ex: Norweb Collection III (B&M, 11/88), lot 3136; James Bennett Pryor Collection (B&M, 1/96), lot 110; and an 1871-S MS 62, a few minor abrasions and hairlines are present over the brilliant, golden-ivory surfaces, slightly weak on the stars, head, and cap, Purchased from Numismatics, Ltd., 5/25/73; James Bennett Pryor Collection (B&M, 1/96), lot 209.
