1840-O/O 25C Drapery AU 58 SEGS. Briggs 2-C. The dusky-gray toning that blankets both sides of this lightly circulated quarter attests to its discovery in the New Orleans Hoard. A well defined and smooth specimen throughout, its mintmark displays shelf doubling that characterizes the die variety.
