Not Sold Description
1841-O MS 62 PCGS. One of the more available, early O-mint Seated quarters due, in part, to the discovery of a small hoard (at least 40 specimens) during excavation for the foundation of the Meridien Hotel in New Orleans' French Quarter in 1982. The fields are satiny and virtually injury-free under a layer of original golden-gray patina. Some softness of definition is noted on the reverse at the base of the eagle. Trends $650 in MS 60.
