Difficult 1843 Gem Quarter
1843 25C MS65 NGC. Peripheral brown and electric-blue patination is slightly deeper and more extensive on the obverse of this lustrous Gem. A well executed strike imparts sharp definition to the design elements, though the centrils of the first two stars are weak. The few minute marks are within the parameters of the designated grade.
