    Description

    Scarce Select 1845 Quarter

1845 25C MS63 PCGS. A desirable date, which is rarely encountered in Mint State. This 1845 displays original iridescent toning, similarly matched on the two sides. The obverse displays orange-red iridescence, with sea-green peripheral toning, while the reverse rim shows electric-blue rim toning. The strike seems above average for these early Seated quarters, and the few small contact marks are well hidden by the deep patina. Population: 10 in 63, 9 finer (3/04).
