Description
1845 25C MS 63 SEGS. Briggs 4-D. While the obverse displays an even, snow-white appearance, the reverse carries deeply reflective fields that contrast nicely with the heavily frosted central devices. Essentially untoned throughout, the strike is razor sharp and does full justice to the design elements. There are a few scattered bagmarks, as is usual for the grade, but we stress that none of these are particularly bothersome. A lovely piece that would justice to any advanced collection.
