    Description

Select Uncirculated 1850-O Seated Quarter, MS63 PCGS

1850-O 25C MS63 PCGS. The '50-O is a surprisingly scarce issue in Mint State despite a respectable (by early O-mint standards) mintage of 412,000 pieces. Most of these coins were either heavily circulated or melted. Typically struck for the issue, the stars are a little soft on the obverse and heavy die rust shows over the obverse devices. Both sides display a thin coating of silver-gray patina, otherwise the surfaces are brilliant. Population: 4 in 63, 1 finer (3/04).
