Attractive 1852 Gem Quarter
1852 25C MS65 NGC. Many examples of this scarce-date issue were probably melted in 1853. Pleasing satiny luster exudes from the silver-white surfaces of this attractive Gem. Nicely struck throughout and generally well preserved. A U-shaped lintmark is visible left of Liberty's nose. Census: 4 in 65, 2 finer (8/09).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23T8, PCGS# 5419, GSID# 5122)
