Not Sold Description
1853 Arrows and Rays MS 64 NGC. Well struck on the obverse but somewhat soft on the reverse at the bottom juncture of the shield and eagle's left leg. Bright mint frost underlies original russet and golden-rose patination with deep blue at the margins. Always a popular coin because of its one year type status.
