Near-Gem 1853 Arrows and Rays Quarter
1853 25C Arrows and Rays MS64 PCGS. Fully struck throughout, the surfaces are bright and highly lustrous with most of each side untoned. The peripheries, however, show rich golden-brown and teal toning. Lightly abraded with evidence of die clashing in the obverse fields. A lovely, high grade example of this popular one-year type. Population: 101 in 64, 18 finer (10/02).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23U4, PCGS# 5426, GSID# 5124)
