Description

Toned MS 64 1854 Arrows Quarter

1854 Arrows MS 64 NGC. While not rare in the absolute sense, Arrows quarters are in constant demand by collectors, especially in high grade. This is a heavily toned example whose primary demerit is a scratch from star 8 down to the lower hair curls on the obverse, and a luster graze (beneath the toning) on the reverse to the right of the eagle's head. Sharply struck throughout with strong luster beneath the toning.
