Elegant Gem 1855 Arrows Quarter
1855 25C Arrows MS65 PCGS. Though it was not struck to the same extent as its 1854 counterpart (under 2.9 million pieces compared to the nearly 12.4 million examples for the 1854 quarter), the 1855 is nonetheless valued nearly the same, as a prominent alternative for the type collector. This enchanting Gem is softly lustrous beneath beautiful patina, navy, violet, and gold-rose. Sharply struck central devices are refreshingly well-preserved, as are the fields. Impressive and interesting eye appeal from the challenging two-year Arrows at Date, No Rays subtype.
