Superb Gem 1856 Seated Liberty Quarter
1856 25C MS 66 PCGS. Unlike the following two P-mint issues, the 1856 is seldom offered in Gem or better condition. This is a Superb, colorful example whose surfaces combine swirls of powder-blue, pink, orange, and golden-gray coloration. The strike is free of criticism and the frosty surfaces reveal a few interesting die cracks about the obverse periphery. Population: 8 in 66, none finer (8/00).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23TB, PCGS# 5438, GSID# 5127)
