Not Sold Description
High Grade 1856-S Seated Liberty Quarter
1856-S 25C MS 63 PCGS. An absolutely and conditionally rare issue, it is difficult to believe that this Select representative is the first of two Mint State 1856-S quarters that we are offering in this sale. Fully frosted beneath delicate golden-tan iridescence, the surfaces are well endowed with bold striking definition. This is not a smooth coin, but the scattered abrasions are both small in size and few in number for the assigned grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23TD, PCGS# 5440, GSID# 5184)
