1857 25C MS65 NGC. While the 1857 quarter is readily available in most grades, thanks to a mintage of over 9.6 million pieces, Gem and better survivors are elusive. This MS65 piece is well-defined in the centers, if a trifle softly struck at the margins, with strongly lustrous, minimally toned surfaces.
