Lightly Toned 1857-O Quarter MS63
1857-O 25C MS63 NGC. This semi-prooflike and lightly toned New Orleans quarter lacks mentionable marks. The strike is good aside from softness at 6 o'clock on the obverse and opposite at 12 o'clock on the reverse, caused by a slightly uneven die alignment. The 1857-O is easily found in VG to VF grades, but is an unappreciated rarity in Mint State.
