1857-S 25C MS64 NGC. The 1857-S Seated quarter is one of the major rarities in Seated coinage, from a mintage of just 82,000 coins. The combined NGC and PCGS population is a mere six coins in MS64 with exactly one finer piece, and the six Choice examples include possible resubmissions. This piece has a bold strike, deep gray and iridescent toning, and satiny underlying luster.
