    Elusive Gem 1858 Seated Quarter, MS65 PCGS

    1858 25C MS65 PCGS. A fully original, Gem example. Each side exhibits medium gray color that is accented with soft golden colorations at the borders, somewhat deeper on the reverse. Some softness of strike is noticed on several of the obverse stars, and a couple of inconsequential clash marks are noted on each side. Seated type coins with the quality and eye appeal of the present coin are highly desirable. Population: 28 in 65, 7 finer (3/04).
