Not Sold Description
1859-S Quarter, Original VF30
1859-S 25C VF30 PCGS. CAC. The 1859-S quarter is unaccountably scarcer than its mintage of 80,000 pieces would indicate, and as Larry Briggs points out in his series reference: "Most ... seem to have a problem of some sort." This is an evenly worn example, but there are a couple of scrapes on the neck and head of Liberty.(Registry values: P8)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23TN, PCGS# 5450, GSID# 5191)
